A reading tracker that tracks the reading, not just the books
Scan a book to add it, keep it on your To read, Reading, Finished or Did not finish shelf, and let each timed session update the page you're on. Minutes, pages, sessions and finished books add up into stats you can look back on and share.
Free on iPhone and Android. No account needed to start.

How it works
- 01
Add your books
Point the camera at the barcode and the cover, title and page count load. Or search by title, or import your Goodreads shelves in one go.
- 02
Read with the timer
Start a session on the book you're reading. When it ends, enter the page you reached and the book's progress bar moves.
- 03
Watch it add up
Minutes, pages and sessions per day, books finished per month, your reading speed and your busiest days, all in the Stats tab.
Everything a book tracker should do
Barcode scanner
Add a paperback in two seconds. The scanner finds the edition, its cover and its page count.
Four shelves, plus progress
To read, Reading, Finished and Did not finish. Every book shows the page you're on and the percentage left.
Progress by page or percent
Books without a page count, like ebooks and audiobooks, track by percentage instead.
Ratings and reviews
Give a book stars and a review when you finish it, and rate the plot, characters and writing separately if you like. Turn any review into a share image.
Goodreads import
Paste your Goodreads profile link or upload the CSV export. Read, currently reading and to-read shelves land on the matching Bookadoro shelves.
Stats you can share
Minutes, pages, sessions and finished books, with a share card for your streak, your stats or a finished book.
Custom listsPlus
Favourites, a summer TBR, books for the club: any list you like, as extra tabs in your library.
Full stats and heatmapPlus
A year-long reading heatmap, weekly trends, genre breakdown, reading speed over time and a PDF or CSV export.
Everything else is free. Plus is an optional subscription for $0.99 a month.

Frequently asked questions
- What does a reading tracker app track?
- Bookadoro tracks the books on your shelves, the page you're on in each, and every reading session: its minutes, pages and the day it happened. From those it builds your streak, your daily and monthly totals, your reading speed and the list of books you finished.
- Can I log pages without using the timer?
- Yes. Open a book and update the page or percentage by hand. The timer is the easiest way to keep progress current, because it asks for the page after every session, but it isn't required.
- Can I import my books from Goodreads?
- Yes. Paste the link to your Goodreads profile and Bookadoro reads your public shelves, or upload the CSV export from Goodreads. Imported books keep their shelf, rating and read date.
- Does it work for ebooks and audiobooks?
- Yes. Add the book by title and track it by percentage or by minutes. The timer doesn't care what format you read in.
- Is the reading tracker free?
- Yes. Scanning, shelves, progress, ratings, reviews, the timer, streaks and friends are free. Bookadoro Plus ($0.99 a month) adds custom lists, the full stats page with heatmap and export, and streak shields.
- Is my reading data private?
- Your library and sessions are yours. Friends see your streak and activity only after you add each other, and your profile is only public if you choose to share it.
